Confused about miles
Reason number 18 why leasing sux.
On a side note, if a train leaves Chicago to Houston at 11am traveling 80 miles an hour and I bought my G in January and plan on driving to Oklahoma the same day leaving from Tampa the night before, what time will we intersect?

I went almost 12k miles over my allowed mileage in my g35c and had to pay something like $2200. I guess I have learned my lesson and have 15k miles a year instead of the 12k i did last time
dammnnn.. that's crazy.. but I figure 15k isn't for you as well.. you just had 3000 miles more for a year.. well unless you have 39 months term I guess.
Not sure where you got the notion that you're only "allowed" a certain amount of miles. Mileage is only a function of the residual Infiniti Financial services set when you leased your car. Usually, a car with 12k miles/year will have 2% higher residual than 15k/year, and 3% higher on a 10k vs 15k/year.
If you drive more, you simply pay the per mile charge (I'm guessing about 20 cents). Lets say you went over by 5k miles... over the course of 39 months you're talking about an extra $25/month+tax. You might have to pay more to drive more, but doesn't it make sense that when your car has more mileage, it's worth less?
When you finance a car, and you drive more miles... it'll ultimately be worth less than if you had less miles.
