Does the Letter G mean anything?
Just wondering if the letter G actually mean or stand for anything? Never really heard it discussed before.

Not that I know of. Just the model designation Infiniti chose for its entry-level sedan and coupe....

I know the GT in GT370 means GrandTouring so maybe it is a shorter version of this. Not sure though.

You can ask the same thing to literally every model Infiniti has released in history. They all start with a letter followed by engine displacement.

It is derived from GT or Gran Turismo from Skyline which has various models C, R, S and V, 50 years worth. Probably aimed at Grand Prix racing.
