Haha, if you search this forum, you can probably find a thread I made asking the same thing days before I bought my car. Before, I owned a black Accord and I was contemplating if I wanted another black car. But since I was still stuck between OB and AG, I said I'd sleep on it. I actually ended up picking Amethyst Graphite the day after I test drove a G since I figured it still looked good but required less maintenance. When I went back the next day, some guy brought down an OB from another dealership since they thought I had already chosen it. I clearly expressed that I never came to any decision, and my sales rep had my back since he said it must've been miscommunication between some guy and the fleet manager. We checked inventory for AG all across California and parts of Arizona, but it wasn't available and the wait would have been another two months, which by that time I wouldn't be able to qualify for a special APR. After they took me into the service garage and I saw my OB sitting there, I just fell in love and decided to buy it right then. I have NO regrets getting OB since I think it looks the best out of all the colors, especially when it's clean. Yeah it gets dirty quicker (even sitting in my garage), but even when it's dirty it still looks great to me.

So in a sense, I didn't really have a choice but to get OB. But like I said, I'm completely happy with the color I ended up with. Either way you go, you're always going to wonder "what if" I got the other color. But it's not just what's on the outside that counts, literally. You'll be happy either way. Good luck finding what you want.

I bought LP because I already have one black car and couldn't bear the thought of trying to maintain another one. This is the first silver car I've ever had and I love it. Everyone tells me how good the color looks too so I'm glad I went with LP.

I ve had the following colors on the G35/37 OB IP and currently LP I think the G looks best in OB by far but the IP is a close second if not for the scratches that are so obvious on OB I would have gotten it again. The LP is alot less maint. but no concern for me because I enjoy cleaning cars.
If you could wait awhile longer for the 09/my you can get the self healing paint on the G and that would do wonders for up keep looks I'm getting my next G in OB because of this paint
