I as fully aware of the services charges. my father is a porsche junky. has had everything from a boxster to a 911 twin turbo S cabrio. the service doesnt bother me as i do most general service myself. and anything major i have a connection at my local porsche dealer. but im sorry you cant compare the G37 and the caymen or any porsche for that matter. the quality and fit and finish is night and day. i would take a porsche anyday of the week over a G37. but that is if i was wanting to spend 10-15k more then what i paid. but if i made that jump i would just get an E92M3 which is my plan anyways

 

I don't think it's as severe as "night and day", I mean we're not driving friggin Chevys over here, this is an Infiniti after all.

 

lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Infiniti is just a fancy name for nissan. thats just a fact. your not driving a infiniti. it was designed and engineered by nissan. There is a clear night and day difference between a porsche and a nissan on all levels. im not just speaking out of my ***. im speaking from years of experience with both cars.

 

for real... Service charges and cost on my GT3 killed my wallet sometimes...

 

-When you park at the far end of the parking lot with 5 or more empty spaces on each side between you and any other surrounding cars.

-When people beg to ride with you because you have the best car out of everyone else.

-When the drivers of cars you race (and win) are not only shocked to be beaten, but also shocked by the fact that there's a chick driving.

-You refuse to drive your car into Downtown LA for fear of dents/scratches/stuff getting stolen, and have to trade cars with your sister for a night, but are still afraid of your sister putting dents/scratches on it.

 

...When Scott Storch stops and stares at your car in awe beauty (or for cutting him off his $1.5m Bugatti Veyron in South Beach).

...When you have to pull over to use your navi.

...When your friends ask why your gas mileage reader is at 17MPG.

 

..when you find a ding on your car and it pretty much ruins your day

 

When your G is in the drive way with absolutly no gas, but yet you still sit inside it for hours knowing your not goin anywhere.

or

When you rev your car at the redlight just because you know your car sounds like a beast and its going to break some necks.

 

When you go to walmart (or any store) with your girlfriend and you tell her you will wait in the car because you dont want anything to happen to it.

 

When you turn off the traction control just to slide sideways

when ricer's do all sorts of things like riding on your a$$, cutting you off, revving their engines at you,etc because they want to race.

 

id say that but im sure a huge part is because my car isnt stock.. ^ lol

 

funny because half the time, its other G35/G37 drivers doing it. haha.

 

When you lock yourself out of your house because you only grab your intelligent key and you forget ALL YOUR OTHER KEYS because when you go to the bar you take your key out and place it on the bar so that any female walking by says " whats that" and you say... "my key" She says "wow what kinda car?" You say "G37" or "Skyline"(if your drunk!)" She is like 'whats that" You say " the infiniti sports car" She says "nice, those are hot cars". 10 Drinks later....
You offer to go back to your place, she see's the car... and is BLOWN AWAY. "wow this car is hot" She says as you go around the passenger said and press the button to intelligently open the door. You drop it in tiptronic or if your really cool you drive stick. You shift hard and punch the gas makeing the tires chirp... You play with the silly LCD screen and Pump the music! She says " sounds like you have a system" You just accel faster...
You get home, walk with her to your door step... Take a glance back at the car as a way of saying "THANK YOU" to your G37 for helping you seal the deal!!! The headlights blink and WINK back at you as you press the LOCK button on the key fob. You SMILE.... Then you reach in your pocket and realize that you only grabbed the the COOL Intelligent Infiniti key when you left your house.... No house key... Now your locked out...

Time to work in the the leather in your new G37... and DO WORK!

THATS HOW YOU KNOW... YOUR A G37 Driver!!!

Or at least that's how i know.
