How is Amethyst Graphite an old man color ?

red is TIGHT. remember the days in the late 90s when red corvettes and bimmers were the shiznit? then red became played out from 2000-2005 - well now its back with vengeance....now black and silvers are the played out colors and red, white and blue are back in! thats my take...
I got black cause i just love black its what "speaks to me" i like the sleek look...

My last car was red and I was really looking for a change. The greys look nice and were my original choice until I test drove it and decided on the sport package.. then all plans went out the window along wth the african rosewood...lol
New plan, It had to be a sporty color. Would love to do black but not willing to work that hard, white just doesn't trip my sport meter, blue was a possibility but in the end Red just seem to fit the car and my needs the best. There's a reason that S in the G37S is Red...it's the ultimate sport color. I guess we can thank Ferarri for that.

Amethyst Graphite a girl color? Sorry but that is a totally rediculous satement especially from somone looking at it from the point of 2 color theory classes and numerous lectures I have attened. Color is not only discribed in very subjective and personal views, but its also defined by local and culture customs. For example, Purple is symbolic of death in some places while others it's a sign of royalty. Red is symbolic in western culture as agressive, while other cultures regard it as purity. In China, a traditional wedding dress is red not white. So in thoery, Red could also be looked at as a girl color.
Get the color that most appeals to you, the one you think you can live with for the life of the car, dont get something just becuse people say its hot. Most of the time what people think of color is actually their own distored feeling rolled into some twisted projection of judgment of other people. Who has time for that, just get what you want and let people deal with their own issues about color.
