I got 4WAS because it is different and I’ve never owned a car with it and none of my friends have it.

The only time I have been able to tell its there is when I was driving through some S curves that I was taking at 75+ on a 40 zone and it hugs the road very well. If I was going performance over any thing else I wouldn’t of gotten 4WAS as it weighs a lot and you don’t even know its there as a DD.

I love it for slicing through traffic in SoCal with little body roll like my old 79 Ferrari 308.

i guess i wanted more of a description on how you liked it over non-4WAS in terms of either:

lane changes
S turns
sharp turns
on ramps

when i drove one it seemed it was prone to understeer...but i see some guys who seem to handle the car very well with it...

For a luxury sports coupe, I'm sorry but I'm going to want EVERY available option. I have 4 wheel steering in my G35c and I love it. I had a 350z before this so I can give a pretty good assessment. Trust me it makes driving (especially long commutes) a little easier

Lane changes = easier
S turns = a little twitchy
sharp turns = easier
on ramps = easier

I don't really go through many S turns in the G. The body roll is more noticeable in it, than my 350z. So what's the point You have to get used to the 4 wheel steering. On off ramps: It feels like it's not turning enough sometimes, then BAMM it feels like its turning too much. Slow, smooth controls are the key. I love it and my next car will have it too.

I wouldnt want 4 wheel steering in a dedicated race car (where it's all about predictability ). But for street driving I say it is a must have

hmmmmm...by your description, it doesn't sound better. why wouldn't you want 100% predictablility all the time?

i have 4WAS on m fully loaded G37S and I love it. I can feel the difference...i dont make crazy lane changes yet so i cant vouch for that... but i did take a couple of exit ramps with speed limit signs for 35 MPH at about 70 MPh and the car stuck to the road great with just slight squeling...I was very impressed...If you are a Nissan drifter by spirit and want to fishtail and correct your sharp turns the way a RWD is meant to be - then dont opt for the 4WAS...If you don't mind the extra control and want a higher tolerance of control before your car begins to swing out a bit then stick with the 4WAS....thats my opinion....I love it.....Im all about stickin to the road....to be quite honest i wouldnt even think of drifting much on street...just track....I wish we could turn off 4WAS....lol can we?
