Front plates... suck

I've seen many pictures of many cars. I'm lucky in Alberta we don't need front license plates.. in a word they "suck". The whole look and feel (and probably aerodynamics) are all thrown off because of it. (And it gives the police another taget to aim for with laser)..

My condolences to all of you who are forced to put these things on your car.

I think people are making it a bigger deal then it really is. In Quebec, it's not necessary to have one either and yet 90% of the cars I see carry these ugly dealers's plate in its place. I rather have a licence plate with numbers there then being a walking advertisement.

With all honesty, where everyone has one, people don't even notice anymore. My Stealth attracts as much attention on the road then my friend's Stealth without his licence plate

Same here! I told them it would be a deal breaker.

In Ontario, it's a must. My dealer would no sell me the car without installing the front plates. He agreed with me also that it looked better without them.

Not required in Atlanta. Woohoo, cause I hate front plates. The dealer asked me if I wanted them to install. I immediately responded and told them if they did, the deal was OFF!

that sucks i used to live in Illinois and we all know how many tuners and Japanese car addicts there are in Chicagoland. While I miss the Windy City - I don't miss them nasty front plates and the tickets U get for not having it on.

I am in Michigan now - One of the few states or maybe even the only one left in the US that does not require front plates....

Anyone from a state that does not require them?

Techuinang - question about your signature? What does that mean about Infiniti Canada? Are G's and Infiniti's in Canada generally sold at heftier sticker prices than here? My fully loaded as described in the sig. was about 45k on sticker -- would the same ride be 55k there in Canada (with currency exchange taken into consideration)....I live near Detroit and come to Windsor and Toronto from time to time so I know that the USD and CD are getting very close in 1:1 value. What do you mean about Greenback. whats that?

Why would I post about a G35 Sedan on the G37 Forum?

I never put the front license plate on. I just keep that Dealer sticker on the front windsheld, that way when the police drive by they think it's still off the lot. I have done this with all my new cars, and NEVER had any problems, and that is living in SoCal.
