Just finished mine... 2 notes to add to this.

1) I had to lift the original cover in two places to get it to 'unclick' from the door. From above and from below. In a OB G.. it's tough to see. Had to hold a flashlight in my mouth at the same time!

2) Had to push quite hard on the new cover to get it to click into place; but there was a definite 'click' sound.

Other then that.. looks great.

Don't really see the need for this. Besides, how will you get into your car if the battery dies and it is locked???

Worst case, we pop it off to access the key slot.
Display on dash warns of a low battery when replacement is due, that's all I'll ever need I hope.

Is this part really sold as a driver's side keyhole cover, or is it simply the passenger side cover that fits on the driver's door?
