I bought it to [I]drive it...[I] so I'm not complaining. If it's 260 -300 on a tank than so be it. It's a fun 260-woohoo!

How the flippin hell ya get 400+mi?? I actually am still in the break in period doing a relatively gentle break in and gettin about 290-310 miles per tank. I drive a 6mt and let is cruise in 6th almost whenever I can as soon as the speed hits like 40 you'll see me pull into 6th usually... i must admit it's 85% suburban/city driving and 15% highway though....my recent avg MPG reading on the center display showed 15.1 MPG

Like I said earlier - mostly 65 mph (average) highway driving, light foot for the most part from lights, and I fill the tank to the brim.

I know that is a supposed no-no, but I've been doing it for 30 years now, including an '01 CL Type-S, '02 Odyssey, '05 TL, '07 MDX,. and now the G. I can get, on average, and extra 3 gallons in the tank after initial shut-off. It's more like 6 (!) on my MDX.

Where you drive has as much to do with mileage, as where you drive. I nail it on the interstate where necessary. Racing goofballs from traffic lights is for the high school crowd. As my next door neighbor (when I was a teenager) who owned Porsches used to say, "Any fool can race from a stop light. Class is knowing you can whip their ***, but holding back from actually doing it."

Now that being said, we are all big boys, we've spent a lot of money on these cars, so as long as we are smart and safe about it, we should drive how we like.

I got 450 miles/tank once. It was 90% freeway driving. I cruise at 80-85 and do a fair amount of highway passing/accelerating. I also have the added benefit of taking it out of gear down hills though

i haven't gotten anything over 290...i don't think 300 will ever happen for me as long as i own the car. my mpg meter shows about 15.5mpg
but then, i'm only getting 22.0 mpg with my 08 sentra.

I like hearing about this 400. I drive a 2000 Honda Accord V6 and I'm BARELY getting 300 miles with a 17 gallon tank.

From this thread, I can't tell who's getting the better mileage, the 6MT's or the 5AT's...
