Illuminated sills for sale on eBay

Not sure if these are the OEM, but I think they are based on the dealer name.

Kind of expensive... not really worth it IMO - maybe $99

Unless I'm missing something, it seems like in order to get the full effect, you'd have to be where there aren't any outside or outdoor lights and the interior cabin lights would have to be real dim or off. Otherwise, you'd have to much "other" light to really get the effect.

And, I wonder if after a while you'd just step over them and take 'em for granted; not really pay much attention to them?

That's why I didn't get them. Not much value in it for me for 300 bucks. You don't even see them most of the time becaue the door is closed.

I like them too, they would probably be an easy DIY install (sounds like the cars except the base model are pre-wired for them)

I will buy them, but it will be later on. I just replaced all the lamps in my car with white LEDs and it looks so great at night. I put 9 led arrays in the door lights and it illuminates the door, ground and threshold very well. The illum sills would compliment the LEDs nicely.

The white light in the car gives the interior an other-worldly look. Like the cockpit of a shuttlecraft or saucer. I replaced the door, courtesy, trunk and tag lamps. Super look for just a few bucks.

Infinti's website says there is an accessory called "Interior Accent Lighting" for $134. I wonder what that consists of?

I want to know this myself. From what I have read ( rumors ) it is a set of (2) lamps (LEDs?) that illuminate the floorboard. Price is kinda steep.

it is kinda expensive just for two pieces of plastic with LED's, which will only have a nice effect when its really dark around, not much of a point. The ones that comes in the car as standard are good enough.

Red which part numbers/ supplier did you order to change your lamps over to leds? Several people have done it but, I haven't heard of anyone using 9 led arrays yet. I'm still waiting for my car Nov. delivery but have been purchasing a couple of things in advance ( did pre-order a set of the door sills and am not impressed by the pics but I have a spare set from the skyline I think I will have laser cut and modify the stock back light for better results)

Maybe it's the ambien light near the dome lights.
