Is Sports package worth it?

I am debating on if sports package is worth the $1800 on a G37 journey. Anyone with experience and technical knowledge care to share their thoughts

I have little experience and technical knowledge but 1800 for pretty much a BBK and 19" wheels is worth it. Plus you get paddle shifters, sport suspension, and a LSD. Very well worth it.

I think it is very worth it. Love the seats, transmission options, 19" wheels, LSD etc....
My wife's is a G35 Sedan Journey non sport and I wish I would have gotten the sport version of that as well.

LSD= http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_slip_differential

sport package will give you better braking (bigger brakes), better handling (sport suspension and VLSD), and a sportier look (bigger wheels/tires, more aggresive front and side trim), ad paddle shifters, sport seats, unique stitching on the leather seats and steering wheel. I think that is a good deal for $1800.00

It will ride a little firmer though.

If you want a 6 speed manual, the only way to get it is with the Sport Package.

+1000 - the brake upgrade alone is worth it.

let me put it this way, the sport package is worth in excess of $5000......so for $1850, would anyone think it is NOT worth it ?

I am surprised that anyone would buy a G37 without it !!!!

I like my non-sport, non-upgraded wheels/tires. I can rotate my tires front-rear, and get a bit more mileage out of them. I don't have a garage, so the idea of storing away summer tires and swapping for winter is also not the best for me (and I already have one car with summer tires on it).

Different strokes for different folks.
