^^how many miles?
I'm going on a 6 hour drive in a week or so. I'm trying to experiment with seat settings. There are so many choices and options, i can't decide!

yea about the same here. I experimented with putting the seat back LOOW almost to the floor, then havin the wheel follow me, it felt comfy at first. But then my arms started to hurt.

Also the front of the seat i had tilted all the way down. Otherwise my legs would start to hurt from the pressure against the seats.

The thigh bolsters are power adjustable, right?

^^ I concur. The issue goes away with time. The problem is I now have super strong thigh muscles from working them against the bolsters. My legs look like Popeyes'.

^^lol, i think i am starting to feel relief. I played around again with seat setting.
I noticed it was JUST my left leg that was hurting, and deduced it was because of the way it rested on the foot rest. The thigh bolster was pretty much cutting into my leg.
Well, I finally gave up my old sitting style.

Now my seat is higher with the front bottom all the way lowered to take away some pressure. And i moved the steering wheel slightly more out towards me becuase i just reclined the back more to make up for raising the seat bottom higher.
So far its feeling comfy, and my left leg is bending more as it rests on the foot rest. So no more cutting into the thigh bolsters.

I consider my read end to be a fat a$$. The sports seats were somewhat tight and uncomfortable at first. I now have 3300 miles and the seat is very comfortable. I've driven non-stop to Austin (from Houston - 150 miles) and the seat is very comfortable. The sports seat has proven to break in for me. I love it now - hated it when I first sat in the seat at the dealership.

Everyone that has broken in their seats, are there cheek and butt bone deformations of the leather seat bucket? I always remove my wallet when I sit in my car. Japanese people must have very small butts on average, and I am 6-3 and by no means fat at 285 ish lbs. Just a big guy,

My 350z had the same problem, and the leather creased and cracked no matter what I used on it. AND it started creaking. I hope the sport seat can handle my mass at it's maximum skidpad for the life of the car.

My seats are only a week old but I haven't had the problems with the thigh bolsters. My seats are comfy.

Has anyone noticed the leather on the side bolster (right by the thigh extension) getting a lot of fine lines from being squished by our legs? I'm getting more on the right than on the left... probably from the accelerator/brake action.

My seats are by no means dry. I have conditioned the seats with Leatherique, and I keep them up with Z9/Z10 Zaino. Still... a lot of lines in the leather...

I'm new here, and the first G35 coupe I sat in right after they came out had the power seat controls on the top bolster, and it dug into my leg, keeping me from buying the car. I loved everything else about the car and wanted to purchase it, but hated the seats. I was excited to see the G37 had the controls on the side, but was again disappointed with the one I sat in for 20 minutes that had the sport package. I couldn't get used to the pressure from the thigh bolsters in the no matter how far out I adjusted them. I'm 5'9" and about 200#, so I'm slightly above average.

I'm not going to purchase a car with seats that are not comfortable, especially one for arouind $40k. I will say that I have demoed a non-sport seat G37 coupe, and the seats bolsters are a non issue, and hold you in place without pressure on your thighs. I realize there are some options not available on the non sport package cars, but the seats are much more comfortable, and I'm seriously considering purchasing one, not to mention it is less money. The main problem is finding one without the package, since about 90% have them, unless the dealer can locate one or I order one.

I'm also looking at the 18" wheels, since they can be rotated from front to rear, balancing out the wear, even though they don't look as nice as the 19". The thought of purchasing a new set of rear tires every year isn't appealing to me, since I drive about 18k miles a year

Not sure where you are located, but in Chantilly, VA they show at least 5 non-sport models. (Stock #s 1920,1921,1930,1919,1856)

For quick reference, if you find an MSRP of $41,175 that's a Journey with Premium and Nav packages added (and cargo net). That's a 'quick' way to find a non-sport
