Spoiler keeps the car cleaner better than chrome tip?

Ok, well I have the chrome tip and ADORE it. With that said, I saw a black G37s with the spoiler in the parking lot and looked at the back of the car. I noticed it was much cleaner. My car collects a TON of dirt back there from the chrome tip on down. I asked the owner too and and he said he hadn't washed it since the weekend...

This is just my opinion but I think the spoiler keeps the back of the cars cleaner. My guy said "the spoiler must create less turbulent air wash" from causing it.

This is just a thought and if someone is 50/50 for the spoiler or chrome nub then go with the spoiler if you REALLY like your car to stay clean.

If others haven't noticed this then this freckled blonde will just quiet down. Either way, the back of my car gets dirty quick!

Haven't noticed this with mine, I drove through some puddles and boom crap all over the trunk and under the spoiler. It could be that the IP doesn't hide the dirt as well as black, at least maybe the initial dirt...

I've got to agree that the spoiler doesn't help keep the car clean. Mine accumulates dirt from underneath the spoiler down to the exhaust pipes. Sorry.

i actually think that my rear deck accumulates dirt about on par with the rest of the vehicle. just to the rear of the rocker panels accumulate the most due to the clear bra-esque film on it.

my car stays dusty and makes me so sad. I can wash it daily and by night dust. Even in a garage over night it showed the dust. Ohh well.

This sounds like a question my wife would ask. She is a freckled blonde too.

Yup, I washed my BO with spoiler last Sunday and by Monday morning it was dusty again and it is garaged.

I think the only way to deter dust as much as possible is to use a car cover. =/
