What are the chances?

I went to dealer earlier in the day in ny. The rep that helped me was a little delayed b/c he was finishing sale of g35 sedan to someone who traded his maxima in.
Checked out the g37 coupe. Its absurd that they are not willing to move on this car. Of the few dealers that i've visited they have the cars sitting on the lot not moving as fast as they would like(imo).
Final numbers:
08 g37 5100 OTD w/ 440/mo 24 mo lease 12k miles for 6sp sport prem (were givin me 1500 off msrp)
07 g35 sedan 1500 OTD 539 / mo 24 mo lease 12k miles for 6spd sport, prem, nav (fully loaded)
So heres where it gets really interesting
Driving home 20 mins ago on the LIE, I merge in, up ahead i saw my first g37 on the road. I speed up to pull along side the g37 to check it out; the guy who i saw at the dealership that had traded in his max for g35 sedan, was drivin the g37 coupe. What are the chances? Looked like the one I test drove today also lol.
Guy drivin was cool he went up, slowed down behind my car and then gunned it going WOT or something to that effect.
1) Car takes off like a bullet. At highway speeds, rolling start, I'm really curious wondering if it can pull on the 335i coupe (mind you i've run a 335i sedan)
2) Exhaust note is still awesome.
3) For all the haters of the lights, at night they look REAL good. Looks like car is starin you down from behind. Look like skyline lights.
The guy drivin the g, if you read this, nice car, thanks for the (mini?) launches, and I wasnt trying to run you, i was just admirin.

I did back-to-back test drives on Friday of the G37s and 335i coupe both with six speed manual tranny's. The Bimmer felt substantially quicker, especially off the line, and I believe due to the fact that the TT engine has such prodigous amounts of torque so low in the powerband of the engine. Its acceleration was fantastic. The G37 felt more composed/refined, and not terribly faster than my 2004 G35 auto. The sounds from both cars' exhaust were great, both handled very well, but the G37 ride felt better to me vs the run-flat-based Bimmer.

At highway speeds I could not discern any significant difference between the Bimmer and the G37, in acceleration from say 50 to 70 MPH. But exiting out of turns going ~ 20 MPH, the Bimmer felt much faster and stronger. And it should, it has been well documented that the TT in the 335i is underrated both in HP and Torque, so it might have a 50 lb-ft advantage on the G37 at lower revs, and the Bimmer weighs over 100 lbs less than the Infiniti too. For a highway cruiser, I don't think the G37 can be beat in terms of performance, ride or comfort. And at a $6k price advantage, it becomes an easier decision.
