Stability control

Ok first, why was this thread locked so quickly?

Second, turning off the system can be essential when driving in snow otherwise you will be hopelessly stuck.

I don't anticipate problems in the snow as I have already ordered winter wheels and tires. I just couldn't recall any mention of this switch anywhere as it may become necessary is an extreme situation. This is going to be my wife's car, by the way. (Lucky girl that!)

Once more why did the mods lock the thread so fast?

This question was answered in your first thread. The switch is on the left side of the steering wheel. The original thread was locked because it turned into a pissing match on whether ESC is needed or not needed.

Do you mind telling me which winter tires you ordered. I was on tirerack.com and was hoping to get the Dunlop Winter Sport 3D, but I didn't see the size that is needed for the G37, which I believe is 225/50/18, though I could be mistaken.

i'm hoping tire rack has tried to see what rim will fit on the G37 Sport or G37 Journey w/ Sport package-- those huge calipers suck!

I wasn't asking the ? again. I was only posting follow up comments because my original thread was locked very quickly.

I bought a tire and wheel package from Tirerack. They have an awesome reputation for customer service so I'm not worried about fitment. I bought Blizzak LM25 tires and 18x8.5 Kazera KZ-A silver w/machined lip. I'm sure the clearance over the calipers is only a matter of offset. My car isn't due to come in until DEC-JAN so I wanted to order early. I may bring one of the wheels to the dealer to make sure it does fit properly.

Why would this become a pissing contest? Are you that worried about a heated discussion of topics? Different opinions is/should be one of the major reasons for a forum like this. If you're going to be that **** about stuff like that delete my account now.
