I finally got a chance to buiild my G37. Came out at a good price no different than what I thought I would be paying. I love that athens blue that was my first color. Before I decide to pick the B.O. They got some really good pictures the G37 is day and night over the G35 dont know why some people say its not an improvment. But I respect everyones opinion. I dont know if anyone notice the vibrant red had the non-sport bumber with 19in. rims it looked very good. I have an 06 G35 coupe. I guess I will be trading it in soon for one of these. Just hate I cant drive my car because I dont wont to put any more miles on it.

The main reason why the majority of people bought the infin. coupe in the first place was the price point under BMW and the looks. But now the prices are equal and the BMW coupe is just as sophisticated in styling and at the same time a less bumpy of a ride. Infiniti I feel will lose revenues because of their price point thats similar to BMW. Im not referring to the 335 coupe.
you're fighting a loosing battle here my friend.. for many of us the reason we're not jumping on the "look at me i own a bmw" bandwagon is because its looks (my opinion alone) are seriously dated and easily blur into the crowd of other cars out there. If i wanted another bland looking car (inside and out) I'd buy something much cheaper. The bmw ride may be great but looks take a higher priority for me than just performance. The performance margins between the 335i and the g37 are relatively close now for the mere mortal.

FYI.. i've owned a g35 coupe and a bmw 5 series...and now a g37. The g35s interior and ride quality was lame (imo) .. the g37 changes all that...

ok i understand, I'll let you know boston how I feel. Im just stating that the reason the G35 did so well was its price point below BMW. Now prices are pretty much indentical and believe Infiniti will hurt a little because people are going to think "hey if the cost is the same then which has better quality overall" and BMW has the edge. There is no debate about that. Thats all Im saying. The advantage Infiniti had is diminishing.

IMHO BMW 328 has nothing on the G except the name. I mean cmon... Huge HP difference, huge feature difference, unwillingness of BMW dealers to negotiate in price, the list goes on. At the end of the day if you are comparing features, the Infiniti has very little competition. If you are talking about an established name brand, then of course BMW is up there. Sales speak for themselves on this one.

Don't get me wrong I think BMW will always have their fans but it's quite obvious the likes of Infiniti and Lexus have taken a huge chunk of their market share and BMW's share will continue to shrink, why else would a company of this caliber offer a 4 year full warranty on their cars now?

I myself was in the market to get a 335i coupe but I just could not justify the 54k for a car that had less features and had to be custom built with a 3 month wait time for delivery. (Mind you I am in So Cal) It's this kind of mentality that BMW invokes, that "hey we make special pretty cars from Germany and you must pay more" that just kills me about these guys. It's no longer just a BMW/Mercedes market anymore. Until these guys realize this, I'm just going to sit back and congratulate these BMW fan boys who spend their money on what they can only perceive to be is a superior product... Comparing apples to apples there is no denying who seriously has a better product for the money spent. To each his own.
