G35 for the meantime...

I sold my TT Roadster today and gave my dealership a call to find out the status of my car. They said that the first truck already dropped off one G today (Jim Coleman Infiniti in MD). He said the truck was full with G37s but they only had one allotted for morning delivery. The second truck would probably bring more, including mine. They picked me up in an FX45 (nice car btw), and drove me to the dealership to wait for my car. I made it in time for the owner to take delivery, a blue slate on stone. It was a sharp looking 6MT. The exhaust sounded wonderful. Needless to say, the truck was held up and due for delivery tomorrow. Hopefully, my car will arrive tomorrow.

In the meantime, my salesman bought me dinner while I waited and sent me home in a G35 coupe with 300 miles on it. He said to me,"hold on to this til your new toy comes in, and don't worry...your car is MUCH better." I hope this is true. This is the most time I have spent with a G35 coupe. What a wonderful car. It makes waiting for mine so much easier. lol

Damn! I got my FX from Coleman and I don't remember that kind of treatment. LOL.

Who is your salesman if you don't mind me asking? My salesman was "Mo". That's all I knew him by.

Jamey Saturn. He is sitting at the big desk as soon as you walk in. Best salesman I have EVER had. I've owned several cars now, including an M3. Infiniti customer service is kicking the S*** out of BMWs.

This guy Jamey Saturn has been getting lots of praise, lately. It makes my want to go back home to purchase my next car (if it's an Infiniti). Not really but it would give me an excuse to go back home. Infiniti customer service is really very, very, very, good. I love the guys up here at Pfeiffer in Grand Rapids, also. I've never had a bad experience with them and I've been going to them for close to three years now.

Thanks Yimbie! Hopefully yours is being trucked as we speak.

N50 - Well, if you do, buy it from him. You wont regret it. That FX is a nice looking ride. The front is the meanest thing infiniti makes.

I'm really hoping that it comes tomorrow so I can just pick it up on Friday. Waiting like this is agonizing! Especially when the dealership is so close to the port. I guess I'll be able to have some fun with it over the weekend before I drive it to school.

I know...I love it. They only thing is that the FX (w/ the sport pkg.) can beat you up. Before they revised the sports suspension in '05, the '03's and 04's could really be punishing.

I'll keep Coleman in mind the next time I'm shopping.

Still waiting for the call. I'm currently in my Commercial Transactions class. I should be paying attention, but I am just too anxious. I have to head up to NY tonight, I would DIE if they call me on Friday and I can't drive it over the weekend. JUST DIE. Don't worry N50. As soon as I have the pics, Ill put them up!
