I'm starting to think that Riverside Infiniti will not get them tonight. How late can deliveries come? Anybody know?

dont forget they'll prob need a day to prep your car before it's ready for you to pickup.. (plates, registration, inspection, wash, cleanup etc).

G37 deliveries . . . .

Wow, and I would've thought us here in Guam would get them late. (being that, we are in the middle of the Pacific Ocean) Our dealer already have 6 on the lot, 2 of which are sold.

Hmmm... that doesn't really surprise me because Guam is certainly closer to Japan than to the US. So the cars would just make a shorter trip, hehe.

Ever since you mentionned that your dealership promise you a solid date of Aug 21st, I had a bad feeling about it. I hope that you will get it at least for Friday. You should ask for some freebees for your trouble (they did promise afterall ). But I'm sure as soon as you get it, you'll forget about all the waiting .

Thank you for being concerned, hehe. I do hope that I get it on Friday also but if I get it on Saturday (it would be at the dealership on Saturday or delivered to the house on Friday), I wouldn't terribly mind at this point. I think that a lot of salesman from the dealership expected August 21st because they were so close to the port but for some reason they're being held up. If I have to wait until Sunday or something, then I will be angry! but I'm 95% sure that won't happen so it's all good.

I agree... once I actually have the car, it's going to be heaven... that is until I go to the UK... then things will be different.

I'm just spectulating, but if certain cars were slated for certain people and the cars were coming in containers at port, then they have to clear Customs, which believe me can take forever b/c when I moved both to and from the UK, my furniture took FOREVER to clear. So, it doesn't matter that your dealership is closer to port, you car may have been stuck in the container last in line.

Yeah I understand that. I'm just wondering why it's taking so long if dealerships in the east coast have already gotten them and Riverside Infiniti hasn't even received it yet. Surely the shipping should have taken several days if not, a week to get there. I wonder where the batch of cars for Riverside is at. lol I have a feeling it's snug at the back or on the lot waiting to get onto the truck. Anyways... I'm still waiting for that exciting phone call!
