I'm pretty sure that was Blue Slate, in those autospies shots, Athens Blue is quite distinguishable from Blue Slate.

You might be right, there were one or two shots of plate DL-4139 that made me think it may have been Amethyst Graphite because the color palette wasn't all that purple, but I guess that palette isn't that accurate. The reflectiion off a nearby building or camera setting may have made it a tinge of purple on that first pic.
I'm going to have to call on my own thread .

The best colors so far are - Blue Slate, Amethyst Graphite, and Platinum Graphite.

Geez... the Blue Slate looks so different in different lighting. It looks like a dark silver in some pictures, others a "pastel" blue, and others a grayish blue. I remember from the photos that InfinitiMichael posted up... that looked like a dark blue.

Most of these colors do tend to play with the light. They can change their appearance depending on the time of day and amount of light.

Exactly, the Blue Slate I've seen is very purple in bright direct sunlight, but looks Navy blue/grey in the shade.

So when I got my 2000 S2000 the odometer read all zeros except the tenth meter was showing about 3/4 of a zero. Yeah - un-driven. I see these G37s are being driven. Can you get a one with no mileage on it ?

Pastel blue to me is quite light, almost like the sky. I don't recall seeing the Blue Slate that way under any lighting condition. Can you post up the photo for us to see which pic you are referring to?

Hmmm, there may have been an eighth car. Second pic shows Athens Blue with the optional "aero" sport spoiler versus the chrome in the first.
