On the 5AT, you just need to press on the brake and push the button. On the 6MT, you press in the clutch and push the button. You can do this while the car is in gear or in neutral.

at least in my prelude...the car won't start unless the clutch is engaged. I'd say that pretty much goes along wit any type of manual.
^thats what i thought.. but for some reason i decided to guess that the G had something revolutionary..
the clutch thing is just a safety aspect implemented by the manufacturers. u used to be able to start the car simply in neutral. i have to keep the clutch in on my new bike too.
