Well, I read about all wheel steering on the new coupe. Just wondering if anyone heard or read anything about AWD.

 

I read somehwere, on one of the articles after the embargo was broken about hard top convertible next year and AWD option a definite possibilty this time or next time... who ever wrote that didnt sound sure. i guess just wait and see.

I wonder how 4WAS affects hangin the tail out and havin to counter steer? I'll hafta see in test drives. Can anyone comment bout the physics behind 4WAS and how it affects turning dynamics?

I believe the consensus was...

users w/o 4WAS thought the option was a waste of money and provided almost no benefit at the cost of additional component failure.

and users with 4WAS thought it was noticible when cornering and changing lanes.

on the skid pad maybe .1 or more for handling... and this .1 could easily be lost due to an inexperienced driver.
