First Drive: 2008 Infiniti G37 from Edmunds.com

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=120061

Includes interior pics!!

It happens on lap 4. That's when the difference between Infiniti's 2008 G37 Coupe and BMW's 2007 335i Coupe crystallizes.

All at once the BMW coupe that we've considered the leader in its class finally decides it's had enough. With its oil temperature pinned at 300 degrees F and its coolant temperature climbing rapidly, the turbocharged Bavarian wonder engages its limp-home mode and we crawl pathetically back to the pits.
lol

Still ugly. I'd buy another sedan before I'd buy this.

Very nice! I wish it had more torque, but you can't have everything.

Nothing ugly about it.

For some reason, after seeing the pics on this website it looked better to me than seeing it on the other websites. Might just be my imagination, lol, but I have a feeling this is one of those cars that will grow on you dramatically after seeing it a few times. Although i still think the fron is too bubbly I will save all my thoughts till after I see it in person.

I really do like that rear shot. I think with a decent drop and some wider wheels it will look much hotter. Dropping it a decent amount might even make the front look different.

still don't like the exterior design. The interior is very nice and a big improvement over the 05-06 and looks like the rest of the infiniti interiors with the vertical vents and center console.

car didnt match the hype but it still looks pretty good. looks more refined to me. with some tints, a drop, wheels, and a polished exhaust system this car is gonna look so much better

I'm not impressed by the looks....

The rear end (taillights in particular) look a little squished to me ...compared to the current coupe. The front looks a bit more feminine.

The pluses are obvious in that the mechanicals and dynamics should be better, as is the interior. But I'm not feeling the love as I did when I first layed eyes upon the current G way back when it was a concept. The new coupe concept also looked a little better.

Perhaps I'm a little harsh, as I'd love to see better pics and of course in person. It's just that the G coupe standards are so high.

the interior looks really good, as for the exterior it would take a little getting used to but I'd still get it

The front end looks like one of the sketches that was release from one of the mags..I just dont remember which mag that came from. Also if someone could just do a quick ps to slam the car..it'll look much more like the concept from side and rear.

just a tiny disappointed... the picture of the rear at an angle.. makes it sort of look like a solara

other than that, looks pretty sick.

happy that is outperforms bmw 3 series in a couple of categories too.
