Great post! Make sure to take some shots while you're in New York! Does anyone else think this new coupe looks muscular as hell! Also, does anyone else think some of the curves, angles, muscular features of the current gen FX has carried on with the new gen styling??? I do.

From what I can see, it looks like it is going to be awesome, and the coupe having the VQ37HR engine, makes me glad that I waited. I love the wheels too!!

the lines of the car look almost identical to the current G coupe to me, not necessarily a bad thing though.

guess the real changes are gonna be made under the hood.

yup, the lines of this test coupe looks very similiar to the current coupe, however though, I dont know if its me but from the fender foward..it seems much longer than the current coupe. Would be interesting to see what other engines they have in store for this car besides the 3.7

Thanks for posting this! It's really hard to tell with the poor image quality & the covers all over it, but it definitely looks like the G coupe.

Can somebody seriously look me in the eyes and tell me that extened distance between the front wheel and windshield is NOT made to swallow a V8 motor?

No you can't, because #1 it's a run on sentence and #2 you can't see my eyes through the web browser.

So there.

I didn't notice until your post, but now I do. I think its just the angle but there does seem to be more rubber on the rear wheel than on the front.

niiice, you sound like me. except i used to stalk the site as a guest. Just joined recently with all the buzz over the new coupe! Ill be at NYIAS as well to check this baby out.

Anyone notice it looks like the front wheels are actually bigger (and wider?) than the REAR??? Maybe my eyes are playing tricks. Cant wait tho!

EDIT: ooops, guess i should read ALL the posts bfr replying. Got excited... seems other ppl noticed the wheel size disparity as well. AWD? w00t!

After looking at the picture again, it does indeed appear that the fronts are a bit larger than the rear. Of course, it's likely nothing more than perspective.

However --- it could be the Altima Coupe. Though I don't understand why it would have all of the body cladding, as pictures of the Altima coupe are public by now. But, the Pontiac GXP uses a larger front wheel/tire combo because of the FWD.

Just a thought.

i think its cause the rear has more rubber so it makes the rear rims look smaller and the fronts have less rubber making the rim smaller. Now what would be cool is the Rear rims are 20's and the fronts 19's
