However, I do think you are right in they played it up as much as possible (without looking obvious) to get the "going after 911 turbo" and "tested in Porsche's backyard" hype going.

Biggest thing Porsche has is image?
Drive any of the GT line and I think you will quickly understand Porsche has much more then mere image attracting its loyal buyers

So it will take more than Nissan building a car with superior performance at an attractive price to take away market share from Porsche. And as I posted earlier having the Nissan badge won't help matters. I'm not certain that even an Infiniti badge would help, but it would be a step in the right direction.
Good point, I am counting down the days until next Wednesday. God willing, this will be my next car come July/August. Can't wait to get all the details!! Then I can focus my obsession on something that is real, and not just a sketch!!

What i hope to see...
300+ HP (dual intake thing from sedan - obv)
reworked headlights (LEDs soemwhere would RULE!)
Nicer interior (like new sedan and M's)
Brembos!!!
Lighted door sills
Heated/Cooled seats
Rear Camera (for backing up)
Nice looking 19" wheels for the sport package
If that stuff makes the final cut, id easily drop 40+ on a nice new IP Coupe
