I'm assuming that if they do make an AWD coupe, it will (I HOPE!!!!!!) get the new HICAS technology that's supposed to go into the GT-R, the only thing is, Nissan would be hurting themselves if they were to sell a 40k 330hp AWD Gcoupe, against their own 80k GT-R, where the 40k difference would be a different set of pistons(in virtually the same block) and a pair of turbos. For 10k I'm sure you can convince the dealer to just turn a blind eye and just uhh....drop them in to your coupe lol

If it came in AWD, then it would be able to go head to head with BMW, Lexus, Audi, etc who have AWD versions of their cars.

Infiniti already goes head to head with BMW, Lexus, and Audi regarding AWD. Infiniti has the G35x. Audi doesn't have an AWD Coupe competing with the G as I definitely don't think the TT is in the same class as the G. Lexus doesn't even make a Coupe let alone an AWD version of one. BMW does have the 328xi Coupe, although certainly underpowered when compared to the G. My point is that outside the 328xi, there is really no other competition for AWD Coupes.
Having said this, I agree with you that I think it would be great if Infiniti came out with an AWD G Coupe.

It would be nice having awd, but I hope Infiniti doesn't lose sight of the original purpose of the car, a good upscale, rwd sports coupe for reasonable $$. Let's hope the G doesn't become overbloated in weight or price.
