Let me know your thoughts. Just painted using Chevy Corvette color 'Hyper Blue'. Also did the wheels myself. Primed them, 3 coats black, 3 coats of clear. 3 coats of red paint on calipers, 2 coats of clear.
I think the blue stands out and is very appealing. G owners will know it's not a factory color, and look twice. And people who don't know the G will think it's new. And while I'm rarely fond of black wheels, they look really good with the blue. They would look even better if you kept those tires dressed. Some tire foam and occasional tire gel is all you need there.
My only constructive criticism would be your red non-sport calipers. The red is basic and obvious, calling attention to a standard brake setup. So while your new paint job is stunning, the first thing I see are those brakes. Know what I mean? I recommend painting them black as well.
Not bad, imo. Clean and different. I think most of us are biased to the stock blue as it's rather unique and pretty, as long as it's taken care of.
I do agree that red non-sport calipers are meh, but if you like it, then it's all that matters.
