Body piece under the door stepped on

A kid stepped on it and it made a pop sound. I can see some plastic clips broke off. It's OK to drive right now but I would like to fix that. Anyone else dealt with it?

You might have better luck asking in the general body section.. or maybe search for aftermarket install instructions? Even if these side skirts are a bit different, the idea should be the same.

Without pics, it will be difficult to judge the type/level of damage the side skirt sustained. For example:
1) did the clips just pull out?
2) did the tabs that hold the clips break?
3) did the skirt get cracked /physically damaged?

Depending on the damage, it might be a easy fix or a costly repair. If the tabs are broken, and the skirt needs to be replaced, that will be a simple yet costly fix- especially if you have a "hard to find" paint color.

I can't just shove it back in so I think the tabs are broken but the skirt isn't cracked.

My paint is the malbec black paint. Not fun to find.

You might want to check out this thread on installing the Aero skirts. https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...t-install.html You can see on the second page the skirt removed and where the tabs go. I replaced my stock skirts with the Aero kit and would probably just take the whole skirt off and replace the tabs. It should be a really quick and easy job. Just order some additional tabs in case they break when you remove the skirt.
