New Shoes today

My old firestones were getting a little shiny so I decided to go a little wider than stock. 275-35*19 give it a little better stance in my opinion.

Rear Sport Coupe wheels on that S-Vert are 19x9, right? I'm also using 275/35-19 tires on my Vossens, and those are 19x10. So based on that, you've added some meat to the sidewall. I wonder how that will impact handling? I mean, a wider contact patch on the launch (for a car without LSD), but more squirm on the turns.

Probably only something someone who tracks their car would notice either way, and that's not something you'd do with a Vert. Not something I do either, LOL.

Very pretty car, OP. I love the looks of the Vert when the top is up.

I think they're 9.5 Stock is 245-40 Tire Rack listed the 275 as a alternate fitment. Sidewalls in effect are the same size as the tire radius is within a tenth of an inch. It does make the stance a little better and the firestones are plenty sticky.

Stock is 9. FWIW I am running 275s on all 4 corners of my 3000gt with 9" wheels. I have a lot more sidewall since I'm on 17s and my handling is still very good. Don't really notice a difference from when it was on the 245s.

That's what I've always thought... 19x8.5" in the front, 19x9" in the rear. Always wondered why they bothered with a 1/2" stagger on the Sport Coupe.

Firestone Indy 500s. No lower. At my age getting up is a problem.
