Sticks on the back pillar

Stickers on the back pillar
I have a white convertible, and these stickers look terrible.
on the outsides of the pillars that around on both sides of the rear window.Does anyone have any idea what these are called and where can I get new ones? I was thinking of just covering with white vinyl or just removing, but I dont know what they do.. Hopeing someone here can help me out
