Folks, I have a question regarding 2009 G37 Sport Convertible RWD - rear Shocks ? I just would like to know if the Shocks for the coupe are the same for the Convertible ?

I went to the Infinti dealer and the OEM part number for the Convertible shocks is E6210JJ52A ! So I searched for this part# on RockAuto and it gave me this shock https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=6264456&jsn=256 but the site says this only for coupe (Although it has the same OEM part number). So I emailed RockAuto and they said if it doesn't say "Convertible" then it wont fit. So I looked on Ebay for that part # and it gave me the same shock "MONROE 5654" but when I check the compatibility it says this doesn't fit your (again although it has the same part number ) , so I emailed KYB and MONROE and they both said we don't have shocks for your car !!!

it doesn't say anything about coupe or Convertible !!

I'm so lost and confused

 

IIRC correctly the rear shocks on the Vert are the same as on the EX and are different from the G sedan and coupe. this issue was dealt with a couple of months ago in another thread, do some digging and you should be able to find it.
