Exclamation Rattle in door speakers? Rattle in roof?

Have a 2013 IPL G Coupe Convertible.

Roof has been working mostly great without an issue. My one chief complaint thus far at 48k miles is the driver's door speaker panel rattles with any song that has bass.

Also the roof seems rattle a bit as well. Is that expected with any hard top?

My roof has some rattles as well - I'm guessing it's normal since the roof is a lot of moving pieces that are not fixed in place.
As far as the speaker, I haven't had any issues. You might need to take it apart and see what's causing the rattle.

My roof rattled so bad that I put sound deadening on it. It helped, but didn't fix the issue. Recently, I replaced my suspension on my 2010 Vert with BC BR Coilovers, new OEM front lower control arms, new SPC front upper control arms. Once the new suspension was on, my car got SIGNIFICANTLY quieter that ever before. I'd recommend checking out your suspension and making sure you haven't blown a bushing, etc.

I purchased a 2012 IPL coupe about a month ago so I’m getting used to the features as well. I thought the sound was almost perfect at first.. then I started to notice small things like the rattling.. I respect what bose did there with the placement of the woofers, but when the roof is closed.. it can be unbearable at times- tilt it and the sound changes.

I had the door rattle issue before. It was so bad with bassy music that I thought it was a blown speaker. Turns out it was loose cover behind the inside door latch handle. This thing is held on by tension and can get loose as the plastic ages. Some foam tape on the back to fill the space solved the rattle. Good luck.

I have the door rattle too. Any common fixes?
