I change the color of my wheels slightly often. This is the latest color, "Real Red Pearl". This is the first product actually from dipyourcar.com that I've used and I got to say, I think it looks damn good.
Base coat of black. Top coat of red pearl.
No centercaps for now, ordered some plain black ones to go in.
Execution: 10/10
-I think they turned out extremely good!
Presentation: 5/10
-Color turned out really good regardless of personal preference. Lost points for the lugs...Those look awful regardless of the application. What's going on with those rotors?
Bonus points: +1
- Boots
- Effort (shotgun made me smile)
I like the color - definitely need to see it on the car though.
As far as lug covers (guessing those are not actual lugs)... well... it's bad... real bad.
What can I say, I like to put spikes on things.... They are actual lugs. Lol, I have them on my truck too. Rotors are due, but I'm holding out to upgrade them, bigger rotors and bigger calipers, stainless brake lines, etc.
It's been raining and loggers are using my driveway currently and I am reminded why I've always kept a 4x4...
And it was just cleaned, too...
I just realized my original pictures lost the descriptions I inserted them with...
First pic is the can of red pearl. Duh.
Then the final pearl drying.
Right after I put them on. The rotors got some rust sitting in one place for a couple days.
A picture of them in daylight. Originally taken to show the gun to a friend. Like a shotgun glamour-shot, lol
That's pretty slick. I wouldn't know the first thing about snow tires. In Alabama, if we get one flake in the air the entire state shuts down and everyone buys out the water, milk, and bread.
I guess you could say it occasionally 'rally's'... When it's already dirty and weather is nasty I have been known to make the last half of my driveway in one long drift.
