Lost my much loved 08 G37S to a flood a few weeks ago. Found absolute mint G37 vert with 64k, should I buy it or stay away, look for newer year ?
Pretty much up on coupe history but know nothing of the vert history.

 

Get it inspected. Make sure the top works well, obviously. Most of the part are the same as a coupe so it's reliable and it'll last, but the top will always be a wildcard. It might fail on you at some point and will be an expensive pain in the @ss to fix. If that's something you are not ready to deal with, stick with the coupes, but I wouldn't trade my vert for a coupe - it's absolutely amazing.

 

Agree that the top is the only wildcard. I would also seriously consider a warranty that covers the top. It will run you 2-3 grand, but so do many top repairs. I got my warranty about a year ago and it has paid for itself already with a failed throttle body and a top repair. Absolutely love this car!!

 

I ditto that for a warranty. I bought my warranty pretty much just for the top.
