Windscreen worth it?

Now that we have the 2010 G37 vert I'm looking at ebay for the windscreens. In all the years of convertible ownership (36 continuous and counting) I've never been in a vert that had one. Do they really work that well and do users in areas with a real winter really extend their vert season by using them?

It makes a big difference on highway driving for me. If the one mentioned in the previous post doesn't have any issues then it's a steal.

It's an absolute must for me. I only remove it to clean the back seat. Also, no one rides in my back seat, ever. So, that plays a role in the screen's permanence. But, the difference is night and day. I would be lying if I said I fully understood the fluid dynamics and airflow of our cars. But, I would be insta-buying another if my screen were lost, stolen or damaged.

As rdog stated, the windscreen makes a very noticeable difference when on the freeway. At slower speeds it still helps. In fact it still helps cut down the wind when the vertical portion isn't raised and is left flat. I only take mine out during the winter months.

YES, I looked at aftermarket one trying to save some cash, the OEM is expensive but I finally went ahead and bought one from the dealership. It is worth the money. I especially like the way it folds up into a case that fits into the truck. It really does help and I think it is one of the best options to add to the G37 convertible. After the initial sting of saying goodbye to the cash you will not think about it again. The wife really likes the way it keeps the wind from blowing her hair forward in her face.

I've been looking for one, affordable, for the past 3 months. I've seen them for sale on here for less than $200. Ebay has them between $400 and $550... just waiting for a deal.

Less than $200 is a smoking deal. Hope you find one.

Gotta love when an OP makes a thread and never replies back in it

Didn't have anything to add, just reading the comments.
