Brought home a G37 Vert yesterday
After much research and lurking around here we traded the old Saab drop top in on a "new" 2011 G37 Vert yesterday. It was actually a leftover sales manager's demo car with 500 mi on it so we got a fantastic deal. Other than the odo reading it's pretty much brand new & spotless.
Thanks to this board I went in asking for them to go through some of the ITBs before I'd take delivery and after about 150+ mi yesterday all seems good with great performance and a welcome lack of noise from the top<insert knocking="" of="" wood="" here="">. We see this one as a keeper so I also sprung a few extra $ on a (heavily discounted after 3 rounds of negotiation including walking away at one point) 84/100K extension to the warranty.
Ultimately came down to either this or a similarly equipped BMW. Long term reliability </insert><insert knocking="" of="" wood="" here="">and TCO were really the tie-breakers for us. Have to admit I also like the uniqueness of the G37 vs. the "yet another" BMW 3 series.
It's a white ext / beige int with premium and nav packages. One seemingly minor feature - AC seats - are awesome. Got spoiled by those on our Lincoln SUV. We have a place in FL and that'll add another 10-20% of days we can drop the top down there, not to mention getting seats comfortable quickly on hot days.
Couldn't be happier with it so far.
Thanks again to everyone who's contributed to getting great info about this awesome car posted here. I'll try to contribute too once I learn more about it and get used to its quirks.</insert>

Enjoy the new car!
I love the "uniqueness" too. Living in LA, I see more Ferraris and way more 911s than Infiniti convertibles. I'm sure that'll change as I've started seeing more of the verts in just the last 10 months.
The day I brought my convertible home I was behind a Ferrari for several miles. It was the only time I wasn't even a little envious. That's worn off somewhat since then though!
