OK... which one of you guys...

... stole the "trunk separator" out of my 2012 G37 Vert?

Seriously, this is the part that snaps in place that separates the front unusable versus the small rear usable space... with the top down. It has to be in place for the top to work (ugh... no vert right now).

And, how in the world did someone get access to my trunk? There's no doubt it was stolen... the car manual and first air kit (which were velcroed to the separator) were laying loose in the trunk.

Anyone have a reasonable source for this part...other than buying it back on Craig's List from the jerk who stole it?

Don't worry about the separator. Jam something in each latch to satisfy the microswitch and the roof will fold back, just make sure there's nothing in the space the roof takes.

Oh that was your car? Sorry didn't know that otherwise I wouldn't have taken it lol jk. Here's the part# for it - 84907-JJ50A, you can get it on InfinitiPartsUSA and I think Ebay has it as well.

Infiniti Board Assy-Trunk Flo (84907-JJ50A)

Haha, sorry. Who would want to steal this piece. . . It's not like this piece will work universally.

Thanks for the help and comments, guys. Not only was it strange... it was really strange. There was something really valuable to the rear of the separator... they left that, too.

My guess is it was a guy with a G37 coupe and he thought installing this would make his car a vert :-)

Final update... ordered the cover/partition part from the local dealer yesterday. Only $35... I am amazed that someone risked jail (or being shot ) for a $35 retail part. I'm also amazed at the low price.

Psssssttt... It fell down covering the soft spot in the trunk. Fold it back up and put it in place.
