roof overlay?

What do you think about a roof overlay for our hard tops? I know for the non black verts.. a roof overlay might reduce the unsightly lines on the top of the roof... but I can't really visualize if it would look good on our cars... any opinions? maybe somebody can photoshop a picture? I like the overlays on a white car with tints.. which would also mean getting tints (illegal in nj ) lemme know what you guys think.

I would say no.I'm thinking it would be out of place on the vert because of the clear partition separations. Maybe CF wrapped, but then it would need to match with a CF hood and trunk I'd think. Tints would be a must.

My Vert is rarely driven with the top up and personally I am not a fan but hey - its just a sticker, right. Try it & peel it off if you hate it!

So I'm guessing you would do both roof panels.

I think it would look really cool. I've seen some Porsche models with black tinted glass roofs/blacked out roofs and they look really nice. I've seen a white coupe driving around NJ with a black vinyl overlay and it looks really sweet. Go for it, as bschurr says you can always peel it off!

True... I will add that to my list of things to-do... now just waiting on the overlays from bluebats.. and possible tinting...

I've tried a red eye removal on the red vert to see what the overlay may look like. I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

I would cover the small piece right behind the windshield before the 1 st roof panel too.

So I realize it's a vert and there are partitions, however the overlay won't hide it from the side . It won't be as smooth flowing as the coupe. From the front and back it's fine, but from the top side I'm not feeling it IMO. If the rubber between the partitions was white on the white vert or red on mine from the side, then it's a possibility. However try and see if you like it.
