G37c VS 370Zc

Just read the review release for 370Zc. Boy now I have a tough decision come in spring between the 2 Nissan drop tops.

370Zc

Pro:
<3500 lbs
usable trunk with top down
cooled seat without limited premier editon
6sp probably more readily available and has Rev Sync
$10K less compare to G37c (both fully loaded in Canada)
Build in wind deflector

Con:
Cloth top with small rear window
no back seat means a 2nd car needed
Not as luxurious without the Infiniti badge
Kinda look like a catfish in the front.

But boy, most review pan on the added weight of G37c but everyone seems to love the 370zc in the handling department. Now I'm conflicted.

What's your take?

You get two extra seats and a more luxurious interior with the G. It s a no brainer to me. G37c FTW.

Do you need the extra two seater in the back? If yes => G37

Hard top>soft top any day. And it sounds like you need the back seat so G37c would be my choice.

Hard top G convertible... plus it has seats in the back!
Never really liked the Z convertible, I like the coupe better.

And structurally too. While G37c is less capable than G37, 370Zc is exactly same as 370Z as the car is designed with top down from scratch, not adding braces afterward.

it really comes down to your goal... if u want a track car or all your after is speed and such then get a Z. but for everything else like comfort and luxury, G fits u.

and again, its your call
