I can see...

I adjusted my headlights upward a few degrees and it has made a world of difference.

My former car was a Volvo S80 V8 which like the G also has active bi-xenon headlights and they were awesome but since I picked up the G I have been a bit disappointed by the performance of the lights.

This evening, after a few turns of the headlight adjusting screws, I am MUCH happier with the headlight cut off and subsequent view of the road.

make sure you're not blinding oncoming drivers. use a level location if you can and measure the height from the ground to the middle of your lights. then compare that height to the of your cutoff from the ground. you want them to be equal or the cutoff slightly lower for the safest setup.

Yeah, I like to have mine pointing straight ahead, maybe slightly down, very slightly!

I hope my post didnt come off as reckless - I am a professional driver and hold a national SCCA license. I know what I am doing and rest assured that my lights are set up correctly.

Hi Bschurr,
Would you mind explaining the method you used? I'd like to try it as well.
I park in my garage so shining the headlights against a backdrop is no problem.
Please describe how far from the wall you need to be and which measurements you take.
Thanks
Dan
