Arrow 2011 G37S Sedan 6MT - Low Miles, Great Condition, One Owner

Year: 2011
Make: INFINITI
Model: G37 Sedan
Price: $16000
Mileage: 59500
Color: Gray
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State/Prov): SC

After being a very satisfied G driver for the past 15 years ('04 G35 coupe before this one), the time has finally come for me to leave the Infiniti family, as I've been lucky enough to score one of the 250 reservations for a Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. My new car should be available in late August, so I thought now would be a good time to go ahead and post my 2011 G37S 6MT Sedan for sale on here in hopes of starting discussions with any interested buyers ahead of it's August availability date.

THE GOOD:
I'm the original owner of this car, having purchased it new in 2011. It's been incredibly reliable (aside from the clutch slave cylinder; more on that later), and I've done all the maintenance and modifications myself to a ridiculously discerning standard. I travel a lot for work, so the car has avoided racking up a large number of miles, and has been garage kept in South Carolina all it's life. The interior is in fantastic shape, and the back seat is practically brand new since pretty much no one ever sat back there. Also, never had any pets or smoked in it either.

I grew out of my "major car modification" phase a while ago, so all the mods on this car were kept as conservative as possible while still meeting my driveability and appearance goals. The modifications on the car are as follows:

1) Swift Springs
2) OEM 19" G37 coupe wheels - All in perfect condition; never scratched, never refinished
3) Z-Speed Concentric Slave Cylinder Delete - Installed ~3,000 miles ago and working amazing. The OEM CSC on this car is a piece of garbage. I had it replaced once under warranty, and then when it failed on me again, I decided to fix the problem permanently. This kit converts the clutch to a conventional style with an external slave cylinder. In the off chance that it ever fails again, it can be replaced in 30 minutes, without having to drop the transmission.
4) OEM 370Z Upgraded clutch - ~3,000 miles on new clutch; replaced with CSC Delete Kit. The old clutch was fine, but since I had the transmission out anyway, I replaced it.
5) HID bulbs in headlights and fogs - Matched pairs of 6000K bulbs.
6) White LED Switchback bulbs - Matches the 6000K headlights.
7) Project Mu brake pads - Front & Rear; ~20,000 miles on them. Lower dust than the OEM pads.
8) Tinted windows - 35% VLB all around
9) LED cabin & marker lights all around
10) Red/Amber/Green Ignition Switch Light - I can't seem to find the link anymore, but someone on this forum used to de/re-solder the LEDs on the ignition button from being all amber to Red/Amber/Green. It's a minuscule mod, but it made me happy.
11) Continental ExtremeContact 245F/285R - Pretty much as wide as you can fit on these wheels. They look amazing with absolutely no rubbing.
12) Custom Fabricated Class 3 Trailer Hitch - Wait... What?!? Yes, that's correct, this car has a Class 3 hitch that hides behind the license plate. (No ugly hitch hanging off the back!) The pin takes a little finesse to put in, but this thing has been a phenomenal addition. This was custom fabricated and is braced by the structural rear bumper and has additional angle iron reinforcement where it attaches through the rear trunk wall. All of it hides neatly behind the OEM bumper cover and interior trunk plastics. There is a connect for trailer lights that stores in the spare tire well and can dangle out of the trunk when towing. I've used it to occasionally pull a lightweight motorcycle trailer and for bike racks. I put a picture of what it looks like behind the license plate and a picture of it during the fabrication process. As you can see in the photos of the car, it's completely hidden by the license plate.

I still have the OEM springs that will be included, as well as any other OEM part I can find. I saved everything because I'm a pack rat, but it's all in boxes in the attic, so I'm not 100% sure what I have.

THE BAD:
It's been in three minor fender accidents, all of them in parking lots (seriously). All damage was superficial; nothing structural. It was repaired at Caliber Collision Center in Greenville, SC all three times and there's a lifetime warranty on the repairs. It has one small door ding on the driver's side that could be easily repaired if someone chose to, and one 1/4" nick in the rear bumper that's been touched up with OEM Infiniti touch-up paint.

The Inertial Measurement Unit is disconnected which causes the TC light to be on. This is a common mod from the 370Z guys to be able to kick the rear end out, but personally I did it because I found the TC to be a bit intrusive on 1st-to-2nd gear shifts. I disabled it so that when I would occasionally have a passenger, it didn't seem like I didn't know how to drive a manual. Simply hitting the "TC off" button doesn't actually disable the TC fully, but disconnecting this sensor does. ABS stays active.

Like I mentioned before, it won't be available until late August, and with the way that automaker chip supplies have been going, I think there might be some risk to that date. I won't be able to part with this car until my new one arrives, so I'd ask for some flexibility in the event that something happens. As far as we've been told on the Cadillac forums, production on the Blackwings is moving along as planned, but I thought a caveat was appropriate.

All-in-all, I think it's a very clean example of a 2011 G37S 6MT. Feel free to PM me on here (slower response) or you can send emails to my username at "that little email service run by Google." (faster response) Happy to exchange phone numbers and chat or text as well. (fastest response)

In my discussions with others, I thought it best to go ahead and answer some of the questions they had on here directly in case anyone else has interest.

The accidents it was in were all pretty minor. I was able to find pictures of the second (2015) and the third one (2018), but not the first one (2013). The first accident was also to the driver front quarter, so it's been repaired twice, but looks great. I'm a huge pain to deal with when it comes to auto body companies and insurance companies, so rest assured, I was incredibly particular about the repairs because I had no intentions of getting rid of the car anytime soon when it was worked on.

Accident 2: Very minor scrapes to front bumper edge. (Utility company left a ~7" deep, ~18" wide trench open that I drove through and scratched the front.)

Accident 3: Corner swiped in a parking lot.

To answer a few questions that other people have asked:

- The car has been in South Carolina all it's life, and we hardly ever get snow here. In the freak occurrence that we do get snow, we don't have the infrastructure to salt the roads, so basically everyone stays home and doesn't drive anywhere. This car has never been driven in salt and there are no rust spots.
- All the accidents mentioned before were filed through insurance, so they should all be on the Carfax (I've never pulled a Carfax, so I can only assume they're there.)
- The title is clear (not salvage/totalled/rebuilt or any of that) and I have it in hand.

Here is another (better) picture of the interior:

Someone mentioned that the steering wheel looked very worn in the first photo. (Likely just from my very poor photography skills.) Here's a better picture of the steering wheel:

The door ding in the driver rear door mentioned in the first post. It's under 1/8". Honestly, it's really not noticeable against the gray color, but the fact that it's near the driver's door handle means I stare at it all the time. I'm sure it's a bigger deal to me than anyone else just because I'm particular.

A picture of the engine bay.

Someone asked for some undercarriage photos, so in case anyone else wants to see them, here it is:

Driver Side:

Passenger Side

Transmission/Engine

Differential

And since it was asked, there are no leaks of any kind.

Thanks!

I've gotten quite a few people interested that have messaged, but nothing final yet, so it's still up for sale.

Btw, the latest estimate on availability is 8/31/21. My Blackwing has left the factory and is currently en route.
