Hello all - long time lurker, first time poster. I am looking to see my G and wrote a lengthy description below. I am motivated to sell and looking for a mutually beneficial deal - I feel that the price reflects this. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions and feel free to reach out for my cell phone number. I am working from home due to COVID-19 so can arrange a time to meet up pretty easily to see the car.

2011 Infiniti G37 Sedan 113K Miles - $6.5K OBO

Mileage: 113,XXX

Title: Clean tile in-hand

VIN: VINJN1CV6AP2BM501256

Asking Price: $6,200 OBO

Location: Central Florida (Lake Mary, 32746)

Overview: 2011 G37 in “fair to good”, not “good to great”, condition. Overall still a nice running and fun car, 2nd owner (prior lease, purchased with around 30K miles in 2015). California car most of its life and then moved to Florida in 2017. Clean undercarriage with no rust. The issues are minor considering the age and mileage, but some items will need to be addressed in the near term to keep her in good shape for years to come.

I feel that the price fairly reflects that the car is not perfect and I did my best to be transparent with the issues.

Reason for sale: Purchased an SUV to carry the dog around easier! No need for two cars and I have a short commute (< 3 miles) to work now, no need for a nice commuter. I have been a lurker on this forum in the past and thought you would appreciate the opportunity to purchase a decent G37 that can be a nice platform as, or used to modify as you see fit.

This car is probably best for someone that is fully capable of performing maintenance themselves to save themselves some cash and get a great deal. Not sure how many other reasonable mileage G’s there are out there for as cheap as this one. Knowing that it needs brakes and tires soon, its probably also a good opportunity for someone that was planning on customizing the car as well.

Exterior: There are some imperfections but the paint is very nice and shiny still. The car has spent most of its life in office parking lots and apartment complex parking lots, there are various bumps and bruises around the body. The lower grille is missing – no idea when it fell out but I never bothered to replace it. Wheels are mostly good, although some very minor rash on one of the wheels.

Interior: Nice condition overall with black leather and the dark wood appearance package. I think this look is a lot classier than the standard silver, albeit less sporty. There are some interior imperfections. There is some rubbing on the driver’s side door from where my elbow normally rests, as well as missing vinyl on the dash next to the steering wheel from a combination of knee rubbing (I am tall) and the Florida sun causing peeling. Dash issues are a known issue in these. Driver’s floor mat needs to be replaced as well, there is a hole worn through from my heel. The light behind the clock in the dash is also burned out. Sun roof works without issue. Bose system sounds awesome, probably the best factory system I’ve heard in a late model.

Mechanical: I just paid $175 for an full inspection to be performed at Sanford Infiniti on 5/18/2020. Since it’s nearly 10 years old now, I wanted to make sure there weren’t any issues I wasn’t aware of since I am not driving it as often as I used to. You are welcome to have the inspection report – I included a picture of what they would recommend being done – most of which is normal preventative maintenance. The inspection turned up some things I wasn’t aware of, so I am glad that it was done – although I’ve lowered my target sale price as a result of the findings. I always used synthetic oil and premium gas, never compromised there to save a buck. No check engine lights.

Here are the known issues that I am aware of. I want to be as transparent as possible on this sale so that the buyer is comfortable.

Flaky door lock actuators: They seem to be working on their own schedule now. Sometimes they work without issue, other times they’ll need to be manually closed and then the key used to open the door. I’ve lived with the issue but had some basic research on this forum that pointed to a $5 fix if you want to tackle the DIY. Otherwise, this seems to be a few hundred dollars to fix.

Tires / Brake Life: Tires are due to be replaced soon – they measured around 3/32. Front brakes are good, but the back will need to be replaced soon as well. You can hear them a bit and the car doesn’t stop as well as it should, but it is drivable without issue right now.

Leaking Valve Covers: The inspection turned up some leaking with the valve cover gaskets. This was the first time the issue had been brought up, so I am guessing it is a recent development. If you are handy, this is a very cheap fix, but if is definitely labor intensive so expect paying for a handful of labor hours at a shop.

I was planning to do a thorough wash and deep interior clean, but it has started to rain daily now in Central Florida and didn't want to spend the money for it to get dirty again. The love bugs are also out.
