The car has depreciated a lot. I got my XS Sedan with 49k for $12-13k before the platform dropped again. I’ve seen 2012s with 70-80k miles go for $8k and below.

That's true, the blue book value was $8-10 with mileage i added 5 for the red leather which I thought was fair. I'd hate to drop the price to 10 or something with the red

I'm not a fan of the red interior but to each their own. I'm not sure someone who is would pay an extra $5k for it either. GLWS!

Me personally the sole reason for buying the car was the red interior. I've had 3 35's and this was my 1st 37. They're great cars overall I just saw the red and had to have it.
there you go...
For an enthusiast the white might not be the most popular either (I think it goes very well with the red interior myself).
I recently paid $10k for my x but with 55k miles.
I think $10K is absolutely fair considering this is a 2013 with the Sport package and red interior; that is a rare combination, and all 3 of those factors add to the value. The coupes hold their value better than the sedans, and I see 2008 coupes in so-so condition with no maintenance records going for $6-7K all the time. I would absolutely pay a few thousand more for one of the later models where they fixed the early G37 issues, particularly the oil gallery gaskets (which could cost you the $3K you saved buying an older one) and sticky dash.
I also happen to think the red leather is gorgeous, and could be the deciding factor with a buyer who is looking at several different cars. I searched for several months to find my Lexus specifically with the red interior and Mark Levinson stereo, and traveled 200 miles away to get it.
This car looks very clean, and unless there is some glaring issue like a rebuilt title, I think you will find a buyer at that price but it will take time. The market for these cars has bottomed out, and private sales can be tricky just because most people don't have $10K cash to spend on a car. And most of those who do would rather put that down on a new or late-model used car with a warranty.
I would suggest listing this on eBay as well, just to get a nationwide audience. But based on my recent experience, be prepared to spend several months trying to sell it before a serious buyer comes along.
