It's been discussed for a few months now but the general consensus is the wing would have to go but everyone who has been considering other brands when they move on from their G will have to take a really hard look at this...If it's remotely affordable this is an easy decision.
M4 starts at $65,000 but the one I drove at COTA the other week was topped out at $95,000 ($8,000 carbon brakes!!!) so Infiniti have some room to work with on top of the current Q60 Red Sport, but they better be a fair bit cheaper still, cause otherwise I would not think twice to jump over and I doubt I'm the only one to feel that way.
Not at all. Even with the Red Sport's impressive performance at a very cool $30-35 (used) owners are moving on. Driving experience isn't the same and the aftermarket just isn't there. Couple guys are getting great results with just a downpipe or something crazy but I've seen a lot more instances of engines blowing and hitting a wall since there isn't much more you can do.
7AT would also need upgrading and they're just not worth the headache TBH.

As much as I like Infiniti most of their future/concept cars are a joke. Look at the Q80 and Q100 it's been concept for years. What about the Q50 Eau Rouge? The only real upgrades were the Q50 and Q60. The rest of their line of cars is just the new naming scheme of Q series and nothing else. Interior is still the same. Seems like they have no intention of doing any kind of real upgrades.
