Infiniti Essence Concept again
I would definitely consider this car. Very sexy. OMG and it's a green car, hybrid (yeah right - 500+ hp). If it gets over 20 mpg city I will be surprised. I have broadband and the page took about 5 minutes, but still worth the wait.

According to the latest reports from Japan’s Best Car Magazine, we found out that the next-generation of the Nissan GT-R will go hybrid. That’s right! The next GT-R will come with an electric motor capable to deliver around 160 hp but also with a powerful gasoline engine which will deliver around 440 hp.
This means that the new car will deliver an impressive 600 hp and promises to be a real punch for the sports cars manufacturers and like the current model it will be a rival for every sports car in the world. Why not? I see it as just the opposite, they will share technology and possibly some components ala 370Z and G37. I think if they are pushing the next gen GTR more towards the Essence, it seems more likely that they will produce it. Just my opinion...
Why would they be mutually exclusive? If that were the case I doubt we would have ever seen the Essence concept. Inifiniti is the luxury brand, so it would seem reasonable to expect the Essence to be a more refined and luxurious (and expensive) model than the GT-R.

The Essence was presented at the Toronto Auto Show on Thursday, February 11. The car has to be seen in person -very clean lines and pearlized like paint with serious wheels & tires. The large emblem mounted on the grill is illuminated at the edges and would be interesting to see at night.
