I know what you mean. My ’08 will be two years old this month. But perhaps you should look at the advantages of having an ’08:

• Some standard features, like the mirror compass and full voice recognition were deleted from later ‘08’s and ‘09’s.
• Your car is closer to being fully paid for.
• Any bugs inherent of a new model are now worked out.
• You can’t tell the difference by just looking at them. And that won't change until the next generation is introduced, perhaps in 2012. Then it's time to get one of those.

 

+2^, finance the car in 08 have it paid for or majority of the car paid off, and ready to buy the 012. Thats def an advantage if your buying the cars 08vs10.

So are all these so called "spy" websites fake or what? I can't believe no one can get any leaked photos of the 2010 changes at all. Infiniti has obviously long since had these changes ready to go. A few things are already in the convertible.

It's just a refresh, but you'd think it was a new, super secret car that runs on air. I wish someone would just leak some pics already.

I don't know for sure but I suspect that we won't see pics for quite a while. Infiniti has to get rid of the inventory they have now. Showing pics now may cause people looking for an '09 to wait for '10

 

Oh, I'm sure they wouldn't willingly release any pics since the 2010's aren't supposed to be here until January or something like that and they're trying to sell 2009's. I'm just saying that I'm surprised that nothing has leaked outside of the company. They have to have images or pics internally by now since I'm sure these changes were probably all decided and set to go even before the first announcement.

I was hoping one of these so called "spy" sites would somehow end up with something, but I'm sure a lot of their stuff is probably just things that corporate marketing departments leak on purpose anyway.

not necessarily, this is the first time inifiniti is releasing model years in the same calendar year, not ahead of time. Thats pretty aparent they have too much stock of 09s.

They prob won't even start building them until Nov/Dec timing.

 

Good point...didnt the 2009's come out in October of 2008?

 

I got one of the first ones in the mid-west and mine came in early November. They hit the left coast first and that may have been in October.

-New LEDs incorporated into the front bumper
