After looking at the new 2009 G37 convertible pics from the LA Auto Show, I must say I LOVE the new tail lights on the 'vert.

Do you guys think Infiniti will incorporate these new tail lights for the G37 coupe face lift model (2010)?

I really hope Infiniti will do it. When my lease ends at the end of 2009, I might finally pull the trigger.

I like these tail lights better!

 

The movement of the top coming off is awesome looking. There's engineering for you, I though the car was going to turn into Optimus Prime. It does have an odd roof line when up, but I'd just be watching the top go up and down continually.

 

I doubt it, and I hope not--those taillights are so ugly and feminine looking; they completely lose the angry aggressive look of the ones on the coupe.

 

im with soldier, complete girls car.....the back looks no where near as aggressive as ours. I think they might lose some customers if they incorporate these tailights to the coupes. Although I doubt they will, considering the only logical reason to change the tailights on the convertable is due to the way the trunk has to open to allow the roof to fold down.

everytime a new car comes out, people hate them, but when they are actually see it at the dealerships or on the road, its a different story,

 

^ true but i seen them on the road on the g37 sedan....still hate them.

 

Looks like a mix between the G35 and G37 taillights.
