i swear the Gs are just too heavy, my mods have definently done more to my car, i ran 13.9 with just a KnN trapping 101. now i am trapping a lot better (with slicks, which kill your trap speed) i might go out there on just street tires, i ran 13.6 at 102 on the potenzas at best with a 2.0 60' ft

i am thinking i could trap 106 on street tires, i just need to get rid of these crappy *** Yokos 255/45s that i have on the back, i can rev it up in third gear and drop the clutch and spin it to the rev limiter, first and second i just floor it and it breaks loose to the rev limiter

but anyways 106 would mean that i am running 5 mph faster and at least 3/4 of a second faster in the 1/4 mile, not sure why the Gs dont run as well. it has to be the weight, they are the same exact engines..


PS are you guys speedshifting, i floor my car and dont let off till the end, full gas the hold way, i try to shift gears like i am trying to break it, stuff like that really makes a big difference in drag racing
