I have a clicking problem on my 05 6MT. The dealer has had the car 4 times to fix it. Its basically a "click" or "pop" i hear when releasing the pedal about 1/2 way up. I just need someone to compare my pedal assembly too.

I live in Boca but am williing to drive to meet someone just to take a look, 5min. Anyone out there that can help?

 

Hmm... did they check for broken springs in the pressure plate?

Is yours actually the pedal clicking, not anything in the engine bay? If so, I have had the same thing happening since I got my new tranny about a year ago. I have no idea what it is.

My 6mt doesn't have that issue.

 

Mine doesn't either.

Does it click every time, or just once in a while? How loud is the click? Does it seem like it's in the linkage or inside the bell housing?

Maybe it's just the clutch pedal return spring binding on a sharp edge or something on the clutch pedal.
