Exclamation FGC Members, Please Read…

What a year. The club has come a long way since what most of you know as day one of the FGC. With the hard work and dedication by a select few people in this club; together we’ve been able to accomplish quite a bit. From family picnics, 3 dyno days, 3 All Florida Meets, weekly dinners, track days, group mod/install days and much more.

I’d personally like to extend a warm and sincere thank you to all of the club sponsors, G8tor20 for his legal help and services, SFLG35 for his “freebie” KP Tech installs, Demonteverde321 for everything he’s done in keeping the club going and Finiti35 for planning the SFL All Florida Meet. I’d like to also thank those that helped financially by donating things to the club whether it is cases of oil, shirts, banners, plaques, etc... These select few people have really made this club a place I’m proud to have started and be a part of.

Unfortunately, due to spending WAY too much time away from my family while attending to ‘club matters’, my recent car accident, the fact that I will NOT be purchasing another Infiniti G35, along with several other personal reasons that I wish not to discuss, I’ve decided to step down as the President of the Florida G35 Club. From today forth, Wes Reinhart (Dabomb) who is the club’s VP will be running the club.

Before I resigned from the club, I’m happy to have accomplished 3 big things. The first was getting everyone a Premier Membership here on G35driver. I really wanted to be able to support Kyle and thank him for all he’s done to help this club. The second was to get a few new, good sponsors so that come March 5th, 2006 the club will not be scrambling to get things together for next year. While the relationships with the present sponsors SHOULD be preserved, it will be up to those on the BOD to choose the future path of the club. The third and final act was to pull off the amazing accomplishment of establishing “The Ian Fund”. No one is more deserving of an eleven hundred dollar gift from the club member’s individual donations than Ian. Thank you to all that gave.

This letter is not a sign of me giving up or admitting defeat, it is a sign of good new things to come. It is time for an election to be held and for new directors to step up. I plan on attending future meets and possibly helping the new BOD in their transition period of getting acquainted with the club (kind of like a consultant of sorts) if my help is requested.

Thank you for helping to support the club with your membership fees, posting in the forums, and just being supportive of my decision. I’ve made many friends and a few extremely close friends at that. I don’t plan on going away, just stepping down to deal with other issues in my life that need the time and dedication I’ve given the club for the last year or so.

If you have any questions or needs, Ian (Demonteverde321) is now a forum moderator. All PM’s should be directed to him or your appropriate Chapter BOD.

I’d like to wish the best of luck to each you and I only have good hopes for the future of the Florida G35 Club.

Sincerely,
Todd (Neffster)

Nice post, Todd. I'll miss your eloquence and judgment here and elsewhere. I hope you will be able to join us for some meets and will continue to visit us here. Thanks for all you have done.

All this time I thought my actions didn't mean anything.

First I comment about automatics and the "official troublemaker" (great title by the way!) trades in his auto sedan for a manual Z.

Then I move out of the state and Todd wrecks his car and quits the club.

I guess I need to think things through before acting so I don't affect so many lives.

Todd, it is sad for me to see you step down because I have been with you since the very beginning when we were nothing but a band of G35 enthsiasts roaming around Orlando. You really have forged a great club, with a great structure behind it. I've seen you do amazing things with this club and struggle with it to make it better, firsthand. You did the best you could do and sacrificed allot of personal time for us all. Thank you on behalf of all us for creating this. No one will forget who Neffster was.

I, as well as the rest of the BOD and future BOD, will do my best to stay true to what you had first envisioned for this club. It will be up to us now to carry on through what you have started.

I consider us a great team when it comes to this club. I consider you a good friend. I know you will drop in from time to time and not completely sever your ties with this club (this is your third child after all), but your presence will surely be missed. I wish you the very best for you and your family. You deserve it.

Todd....gone, but not forgotten.

Todd, you will always be remembered, just like George Washington will always be remembered. Thank you for all the help you have given me and the rest of the club. Your decision to step down from the club is depressing. I know that family is #1 and the G was #2, but hopefully one day down the road you can join us with a future purchase of a G. Goodluck.

Forever remember the girly colored, stock looking G.

Todd, congratulations! You should be proud of the club that you've created! As a current BOD member, a club member, and a G35 owner, thanks for creating something extremely special for all of us to enjoy! I will work hard to make sure that our BOD continues to build a club that exceeds even your expectations!
