ZDayz 2006
Dan, I'm still very interested in going too but... to be honest it's difficult to give you an 100% confirmation at this time. Hopefully, after the holidays things will look a little more promising for me. At least this gives me time to start saving some cash well in advance.

Seasons Greetings!
I hope everyone is already having a wonderful holiday season. Here at ZDayZ central, we're doing our trying to do our part to spread some holiday cheer. Attached, you will find the Sponsor Club registration document. Members of ZDayZ sponsor clubs should use this registration form (not the one on the ZDayZ website) to register for ZDayZ to take advantage of discounted car show registration and t-shirt pre-order pricing.
One thing ZDayZ veterans will notice is that we have implemented a general registration fee for everyone who attends ZDayZ. After much discussion among ZDayZ staff and with some attendees from last year's event, we decided this approach would allow us to best address some of the issues encountered by attendees and organizers at our prior events.
Our biggest area of concern in 2005 was meals. So, we're shooting for two improvements to the process this year. First, we'll be dining in a much larger area in 2006. With any luck, this will alleviate the dinner line congestion and give everyone room to sit down and eat at one time. More importantly, we are planning to set up dinners for the group. A large portion of the general registration fee will go towards paying for the Friday Welcome Dinner and the Saturday Cookout Dinner.
But don't worry, you will find the overall total cost has changed very little from last year. Attendees can elect to enter the car show and order shirts 'ala carte'. Compared to last year, if you sign up as you did before, you'll wind up paying around $10 more in 2006. The difference basically equates to the amount of prepaying the second dinner (which was charged individually last year).
Finally, this approach allows we, the organizers, to have a better handle on head count and car count at the event. Please encourage those attending, even if they do not plan to enter the car show, to provide information on the car they are bringing. Our goal is to break 200 cars this year and we want to have an accurate count to back that number up. Also, make sure registrants select the club they are representing so we can have an accurate count of how many people your club brings to ZDayZ!
That is all for now. ZDayZ newsletters, which will provide more details on events and sponsors, will begin after the first of the year.
See you in May!

Dan, I thought you were making a new thread announcing our sponsership.
Who woulda imagined this a year ago. We were just hoping to build enough to GET sponsors, now we are big enough to be a sponsor. KICK A$$!
